Form 1 Tutoring - Homework Help
Description
MVPs, LLC offers K-12 one-on-one online tutoring for language arts, math, and sciences. We also assist students in the development of appropriate study skills, homework completion, and lesson review.
FORM 1 tutoring sessions focus on students’ current coursework and assignments - homework, exam preparation, organization, study skills, etc.
GOAL: to help students better understand their course material and hopefully improve their academic abilities.
Cost: $20 per session (1 hour session).
Form 2 Customized Tutoring
Description
MVPs, LLC offers customized online tutoring sessions that are customized to meet the students' needs. Sessions would focus on specific skills that require strengthening or preparation for subjects the student will encounter. It is different from Form 1 tutoring because it is not led by current assignments but by students needs as reported by teachers, parents, or an MVP assessment. Best results are achieved when sessions are based on the MVP assessment.
FORM 2 offers customized tutoring sessions to meet students' needs.
GOAL: to address learning challenges not met by traditional tutoring methods.
Cost: $30 per session (1 hour session)
Paper & Pencil Assessment
Description
PART 1 - Administration of a paper and pencil test. Similar to an end of the year exam focusing on appropriate grade level skills in language arts or math.
PART 2 -Results interpreted and a report written. Included in the report will be a series of objectives that focus on improving student performance in areas identified as weaknesses.
Cost: $50 one-time payment for assessment and report.
