Our motto is “putting the needed pieces into place”. We understand that parents value the education of their children. You know that education is the key to success in life and want to do everything you can to ensure that your children succeed. MVP Tutors serve as an additional resource that you can use. Our tutors put the needed pieces into place.

We have gathered a diverse group of talented bilingual/multilingual tutors who are passionate about working with children to help them reach their full potential.

Our Team

Director, Research & Development

Dr. Yolanda Vauss, PhD

Dr. Vauss is a Developmental Psychologist with decades of training and experience assessing and implementing academic interventions and strategies. Having worked within research and private settings assessing children and collecting data and information she has amassed a wealth of knowledge concerning learning and development which she uses to develop course materials. Evidenced-based practices in psychology and education are heavily utilized.

Ann M. Shackelford, MBA

Ms. Shackelford has a Master of Business degree with an emphasis in executive leadership and a BA degree in English. She has over 15 years of experience in business operations management. She has also worked within various youth organizations and programs developing and implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.

Together, Dr. Vauss and Ms. Shackelford have developed a business model and company that incorporates policies and techniques to ensure MVPs is successful in its goals.

Tutors

We have contracted a professional team of tutors throughout the United States who have a variety of academic specializations and skills. Our tutors speak a variety of languages such as, American Sign Language, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish.
