MVPs, LLC offers grades 3-12, one-on-one online tutoring for language arts and/or mathematics. We also assist students in the development of appropriate study skills, homework completion, and lesson review.

We offer two forms of tutoring:

Form 1 includes tutoring sessions that focus on students’ current coursework and assignments - homework, exam preparation, organization, study skills, etc. Our goal is to help students better understand their course material and hopefully improve their academic abilities.

Form 2 offers a customized tutoring session. The program coordinator administers an assessment remotely. The assessment is in the form of an end of the year performance assessment The assessment results will be interpreted, and a report written.

Included in the report will be a series of objectives that focus on improving student performance in areas identified as challenging. A phone consultation with parents will occur to review test scores and provide recommendations for tutoring focus and frequency.

The program coordinator and assigned tutor will then work together to develop an individualized tutoring program to meet the students’ needs. The tutor will be responsible for implementing the customized plan.

Our goal, regardless of form, is to help students better understand course material, raise their grades, and become more academically confident.
